Aerial Yoga Tucson Classes Tucson

Aerial yoga uses a fabric sling, or hammock, to fully or partially support the weight of the body while moving through yoga poses. While aerial yoga can add a new dimension to your existing yoga practice, no yoga or aerial experience is necessary to take this class. All levels and body types are welcome!

Aerial Yoga

An ongoing class that uses the aerial hammock to move through yoga and other poses. It includes elements of stretching, strengthening, balance, and inversions. All levels and body types are welcome!

Aerial Yoga-Fit

An Aerial Yoga class that focuses a little more on strength than our regular Aerial Yoga classes. All levels welcome.

Take Flight Fitness

This class is designed for people of all fitness levels who are looking to lose weight, get in shape, and have fun. We used specialized equipment to build functional fitness, core strength and balance, and flexibility

Aerial Silks Basics

This class covers the basic fundamentals of aerial silks. Participants will learn to climb, invert, and lock in, as well as basic tricks. It is designed for people with little or no aerial silks experience. Participants will be required to master the skills taught in Aerial Silks Basics before moving on to the Aerial Silks classes.

Silk Masters Level 2

Silk Masters 2 builds off of the foundation skills learned in Silk Masters Level 1. In this class, you will learn more advanced locks, hangs, and tricks, and even begin putting moves together in short routines. Prerequisites: Silk Masters Level 1 -Instructor Approval Required. An ability test will be required to advance to this class from Silk Masters 1.

  • Thursdays 5:30pm – Instructor Approval Required

Silk Masters Level 1 & 2

This class builds upon the skills learned in Aerial Silks Basics. In this mixed level class, skills will be scaled to each participant’s experience and ability level. An ability test and instructor approval is required to take this class.

  • Saturdays 11:15am – Instructor Approval Required

Silk or Die – Instructor Approval Required

Open Gym style class that focuses on the breakdown and practice of new, more advanced skills. Instructor approval is required before attending this class.

  • Tuesdays 5:30 – 6:30pm

Aerial Hammock Tricks and Flips

A mixed level class that teaches basic tricks using the aerial hammock (the same one used in Aerial Yoga). Whether you are looking to expand your aerial yoga practice to include more tricks, or just looking for some fun aerial experience, this class is for you. Prerequisite: at least one Aerial Yoga class.

  • Sunday 12:15pm

Open Gym:

Time to come practice what you have been learning, or to just “hang around” in the hammocks.

  • Fridays 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • Sundays 10am – 12pm

Requirements:
-Must have taken at least 4 classes (or have Instructor approval) prior to attending an Open Gym.
-No teaching!! This is time to practice skills you have already been taught. No teaching between participants is allowed.
-Be respectful and kind to yourself and others. Share the space and equipment, and be mindful of your safety and those around you.
-Do not change or adjust the rigging or equipment. If you want something else down, ask the attendant.
-Practice at your own risk, and use common sense. Injuries can happen, please practice safely within your abilities.
